Spectators at the Line Ceremony.

 

 

Troops to Brunei and Sarawak.

 

All boats were landed to make way for
9 Landrovers and trailers. 4 Ferret Scout cars.
Tractor and water bowsers

....

 

Troops being transported were.
1st Battalion Royal Green jackets.
Elements of H Q Company 42 Commando.
A detachment from the Queen’s Royal
Irish Hussars.

 

Most of them billeted on the upper deck,
under canvas.
634 troops and a monkey.

 

310 Green Jackets were landed at
Miri in Northern Sarawak

 

The remaining troops were disembarked
At Victoria Harbour in North Borneo.
