Recovered crud on Swanage pier
Sometimes it is impossible to know what you have recovered after the latest dive, there maybe little time for examination or just not practical. On these occasions the crud from the seabed that has been giving a reading from the metal detectors is brought back to shore, here a large piece is sitting on Swanage pier waiting to give up its secrets to a lump hammer.
